Fridge Oatmeal - Courtesy of The Yummy Life ;)

A friend of mine shared this link with me and it looked like a great idea! I decided to try it right away. This is how I discovered Chia Seeds. There are MANY more recipes and ideas over at The Yummy Life blog and Facebook page, these are just the two that I tried.

  1. This is simple, but if it were easy, everyone would be huge. You need to eat more and eat better. Eat more calories, more meals, and more protein. Eat better quality food. Meat, poultry, fish, and eggs should form the foundation of your meals. Then add some good carbohydrates: potatoes, rice, bananas, oatmeal.

    1. Yes, protein should definitely be at every meal. Working with people, I have learned that the same thing does not work for everyone. I am taking a break from my 'meat at every meal' diet. I have clients that are vegetarian/vegan. I have some clients that have allergies to eggs. Some have GI issues, such as Crohn's disease and others with similar side affects and can't process red meats or fish as well. I also have people close to me fighting cancer and are doing the Cancer diet, eliminating all animal products and processed foods, and have felt remarkably better. So I like to offer lots of different ideas for people to show them you can still have a healthy balanced meal, with plant-based healthy fats and proteins. ;)
